Hey, Darlin'.

First-off, stop the Special K. You're starving yourself, and the weight will eventually stop coming off. 'Sides, you wanna eat paper for the rest of your life??

I started Weight Watchers August 18 of last year. It's the most awesome prog on the planet! They help you find out what your normal caloric intake should be for your starting weight and gradually drop it down as you lose. They also teach you how to track the food and know what you're eating by simplifying everything. The more fiber you eat, the fewer "points" the food is worth, and since you are allotted a number of points according to your weight, in addition to 35 extra you can use, not use, or use as few or as many as you want, the weight will be much easier to lose than starving yourself or eating some nasty crap you otherwise wouldn't dream of putting into your mouth. Then you journal it all (they give you sheets, but I use a notebook) and work in slow, gradual exercise (if you're normally sedentary, as I have been since developing Plantar Fasciitis over a dozen years ago) and figure out how many "activity points" you get as a result. Then you can eat those, too, if you want. Get all the dirt from www.WeightWatchers.com. (They also have what they call a "core" plan, which allows you to eat certain foods until you feel satisfied, but since I eat so many foods that aren't core, I chose the Flex Points plan instead.) There are also very helpful bulletin boards on the site. You'll find me on the 100+ board.

I hope this helps! Come on over!
