i had major probs a couple yrs ago - reinstalled xp so many times thought it wore out my xp CD- got a replacement copy from MSoft and found out it was something else causing the prob.
then thought it was the Hard drive /viruses or MB or CPU
so tried new HD was still broke - cheapest fix to try first - or format old one if you can get it to boot and nothin real valuable on it.
ended up with new MB & CPU all fixed and a faster PC now
but reused my old MB & CPU just last week for parents pc case upgrade and they both worked LOL so I don't know what the original prob was...overheating maybe..
ANYWAY WAS THINKING IF IT'S NOT VERY OLD JUST A HARD DRIVE or reinstall of OS ??
MIGHT BE NEEDED..
The case STILL TURNs ON ??? - jUST NO windows SYSTEM STARTS UP???
sorry didn't see th caps stuck on...
