Default working and headaches

hi, sorry for changing my name but i take sleeping pills at night and couldn't remember my password, so i changed my name. This post was earlier in my injury when i had several more problems of understanding my job and trying to figure out why i couldn't complete one of my problems. I am a salesperson for a large flooring store and I am in charge not only of selling but measuring, patterning the flooring, computer, and invoicing. I could evern look at a floor plan and figure how to run the carpet. It was horrible but around 3 weeks my memory and things were starting to come around. During the first two weeks I couldn't find my visa card in my wallet. it was to overwhelming. I am now 3 months out, and mostly all thinking and understanding has returned. I struggle sometimes to find the answer in my head but it will come. I noticed that i have to think hard when someone gives me there name and phone number and sometimes i have to ask twice. the week off that I said I was going to go to muscle therapy and relax, as i haven't sat still for 3 weeks. I just kept struggling through, did lots of crying at work. Everyone knew it was bad. i am an over acheiver and can't relax well. I have not been working 7 and half hours a day. Last week was terrible. I still suffer from neck and shoulder pain, light ringing in the ears and light headache in the morning and by mid day they are much louder. I hate this high pitched buzz. I have continued with muscle theraphy, my neck and shoulder suffered whiplash and they beleive when all the lumps of mucles go back to there natural state, the headache and ringing will be gone. I have run out of coverage so I am on my own so i continue to stretch the strenghthen. I also started accupuncture and it seems to bring my night time pain down. I am seeing my doctor and i think i may take off a month or two to get well. the stress doesn't see to help the neck and headaches. I will know more in two weeks. I don't think i have heard of anyone that went back like me with four days off. I think I regret that.Remember the ringing always gets worse at the end of the day as the muscles tightened from the work they did all day. if you have any questions let me know. chow

It has been tough for me as I have been signed off of work ever since. I have a physical job and my boss said it is harder to manage me being there if I am not 100% than covering for my total absence! At first I was cool with this as I was sleeping 18 hours a day. Then I realised that being on my own all day was getting me down so I have started to do 1 hour at a time (not even 5 days a week yet) of community work.

Life has been testing. There is very little social life to speak of anymore I just can't keep up with my friends. I am having to adjust to a new 'normal' which has been allot to get my head around at times. Concentration problems still cause me big issues likewise headaches and dizziness.

As for the tinnitus, that is the sad thing, the audiologist at my hospital said there is no cure just ignore it...easier said than done! I have found a self-help group in the area who have been able to give me LOTS of their little tricks to make it easier to tolerate. The ringing sounds in both ears, and gets louder at night or when I am tired or stressed. Some foods and some painkillers make it worse. The only thing that improves is my level of acceptance. Though on some days I just want to cut my ears off!

All the best and good luck with it

"I vow to lay on my back the rest of the week" ...any reason for this???
