Hello Lisa, and Welcome to the NeuroTalk community

I have experienced a lot of very bad muscle spasms. I currently have a muscle that has been in a spasm for months and is causing me a lot of pain and discomfort, but I can not get it to stop despite many efforts.

There is a discussion about muscle spasms on the Thoracic Outlet Symdrome forum here at Neurotalk, and many of the members of that forum have offered a lot of helpful information on that thread, so I am going to give you the link to that discussion thread -

You mentioned that your doctor said the muscle spasms were a part of the fibro... but did the doctor offer any type of treatment for the spasms? Medications? Physical therapy? anything?

Muscle spasms are horrible and painful, so I hope you are able to find some relief soon.

Take care,
Liz
