Thanks, Bryanna, for asking. I'm in the same situation. No bottom teeth. I'm to go in August to see if the bone graft is okay to put the 5th inplant in. If so- and if the other 4 seem okay - they will put the 5th in that day. In 3 or 4 more months, they'll check again. If okay, they'll screw in the tops of the inplants.

Nothing done in uppers. I do not trust the intern who is doing it, and I don't believe they'll do anything about it. The department head protects the intern, but he doesn't know all the different things the intern tells me.

I'd love to have a good dentist evaluate what's been done and told to me. Problem is, I don't have any way to find who is a good dentist. And, if I found one, they probably wouldn't be willing to be involved without doing the work.

I feel I'm a hostage at this point. Nothing I can do. I need an advocate to do something for me, but don't know anyone who does this. As I told you, if I go to the state board, I have to agree not to have a lawyer. Even if I had a lawyer, it would take years to finish a suit like this. I feel there's no way out . Older people have problems like this with many other things besides denistry. It's obvious that time is not on our side, so we're not a threat.

Yes, I'm trying to keep a positive outlook, but I'm also very much a realist.

Keep up your good work. It really helps to have someone explain things as honestly as you do.
