Enjoying the summer
Will miss my kids when they grow up and move away. DD18 had her second backyard pool party with friends within a week. Took DS17 for his senior pictures today.
Enjoy having my kids around. They'll soon be grown and gone. I'd better enjoy this summer while it lasts. DD leaves for the Gult Coast in November to volunteer for 8-9 months to help rebuild homes that have been affected by the hurricanes. Then, off to college, out-of-state for 4 years.
I think DS will stay closer to home when he graduates.
