HOPE
In all things there resides,
A quiet calling,
A peaceful tide.
In listening to the charms of life,
Hope comes,
Despite the strife.
Resting in the space between,
Love’s tough and hardened dreams careen,
Crashing upon shores of doubt,
But birthing there, new dreams that sprout.
Nothing’s sure in this world here,
That’s for sure so hang your hat here –
Hope springs eternal for those who wait,
And patiently strive for that which sates:
Thirsts anew,
Dreams undreamed,
And paths untaken,
Except by few.
