Details Benefit Dance To Be Held For David Abell

A benefit dance will be held on June 20, 2008 to benefit David Abell, of Belleville, IL. The dance will be held at the Midway Bar and Grill, 13551 Hwy 32, Ste Genevieve, Missouri. Doors will open at 8 p.m. The band Graj Mahal will play classic rock from 9 p.m. – 1:00am. There will be a cash bar and food available for purchase.
Tickets are a minimum $5.00 donation and can be purchased at the door. There will also be several raffles that night, including a 50/50 raffle.
David was diagnosed with an incurable disease, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), commonly called “Lou Gehrig's” disease, four years ago. Sadly, the disease has progressed to a point that he requires around-the-clock care.
David is the husband of Sheri Huber (daughter of Larry and Judy Huber, formerly of Ste. Genevieve, MO). They have been married for 19 years and have three beautiful children: Ashley, 18, Hailey, 15 and Brett, 13. Sheri and David received an in-home nursing care grant, but it is nearly exhausted. All funds raised from this event will be used for David’s around-the-clock nursing care. Donations may be mailed to Bank of Bloomsdale 695 Center Dr Ste Genevieve MO 63670.
