My husband was diagnosed with ALS. We just went in to see a Lyme specialist and he is getting tested now - extensive blood work.

Do you know if your husband's EMG showed widespread denervation when he was originally diagnosed with ALS and did he show Palsy in his face? My husband has shown those above and we think we may be dealing with AND instead of OR? in otherwords - we don't know if with those symptoms we could say LYME INSTEAD of ALS. or do we have to say LYME AND also ALS.

we are hopeful but worried if you have both how you treat it?
