Somtime when people who have undiagnosed lyme start antibiotic they have what is called a herx reaction. It is kind of like the the lyme bug becomes aggressive and is trying to fight against the antibiotic. The person may seem to have worse sx, but that is just further insurance that they reall do have lyme disease.
