Thanks for the welcome. Spent a lot of the day researching Lyrica again. Forums, message boards, opinion boards, and a more lengthy physician's pamphlet then what I'd read before. I've also recently developed peripheral edema (swollen feet and ankles - along with stabbing pains in them and all over ny body) and that along with the blurred vision and photophobia are suggested as reasons to stop the drug. Hate it for me as it really does relieve the Fibro pain and illness/flu-like feeling - both indescribable to the non-sufferer. The neuro Opthamologist in Nashville said it takes years to develop eye problems from a drug - Hmmmph - he should read the forums AND the lit on the subject.
Well, I'm off to find the Fibro forum. I'm isolated because of my eyes, geographic locale, and care for my 94-year-old Mother -- so I welcome emails. When my eyes get better I'll have "cuter" posts - LOL. Just doing this is difficult.
Thanks again,
Jean
