There are at least 3 canes in the back of my car.

One for me, when I've got vertigo issues, or if I think I might have vertigo issues in a store.

One for my dad when his back is messing with him.

And one for my mom, who has had two knee replacements and a bad back and is suffering from injuries she got in a car accident when she was 17 that waited years to show up. She's also got a walker in my car, and occasionally a wheelchair.

There's a couple of spare canes in the back of my dad's car too. Helps to be prepared, and my dad's "walking stick" collection is getting used now.
