What I don't understand is this ~~ If the US were to drill and pump oil, what makes these politicians, or the American Public for that matter, think that OUR oil will stay in the US?
Wouldn't this oil be added to the world market and not be used for "our domestic" supply? To me this would be against the rules as set forth in the OPEC Summit Declaration to which we have held the 11 member countries accountable.
Just my two cents...doesn't buy any gas!
