I'm sorry but thinking today that I've had PD now for 11 years now, I'm still where I was 11 years ago! I still have to take these damn pills every 2 hrs just to be able to get outta bed. And that's AFTER DBS!!! Ya know when you really stop to think about it the special interests really control a lot of what goes on in this country and frankly its a bunch of BS and right now I'm pretty tired of it.

-Viagra. Give us a problem with sex and we throw more drugs onto the market than anything you've ever seen. I know it was discovered as a side effect. But have you seen anything else move that fast. The pharma companies are making gazillions.

-Iraq. Sell the public a bill of goods. Post 9-11 and all of a sudden Sadam Hussein MUST be attacked. Pleeease. I think we were all taken for a ride on this one. The only people making money here are VP Cheney, Halliburton and all the other companies involved. Not to mention the lives lost, the toll on the families in terms of PTSD, brain and other injuries. Lack of VA care, etc. And they want to deny an new GI bill,,, WTF are we doing sending BILLIONS overseas when our own country is falling apart..and if, IF these guys make it home they don't have jobs to go back to or they don't have the house that they were living in.

-PD research. Thank God for MJF and the Parkinson's foundation. If it weren't for them we sure would not be as far along as we are. That said, the latest new drug to come out was an agonist patch- NOT even a primary medication as such but a "helper". Then they recalled this one for problems that I'm sure never showed up before, yeah right. How long has it been since big pharma has given us any drug for anything that has actually cured something or at least made a major advance in treating it. Yet they don't want us to go to other countries for meds or treatment? Please, we live in the richest nation on this planet and the best they could do is flood the market with drugs so I can have an erection that wont quit but they can't figure out why I don't remember last night (alzhiemer's) or my heart couldn''t bear the stress (cholesterol and heart disease). You watch the brain cancer funding go off the chart after Kennedy passes. Bless him. I know, he wasn't driving.

Now my apartment complex wants to take over the cable billing for our standard service, we still get billed from the cable co. for all the extras, huh? I checked into this and they finally admitted that they can then include it in the rental charges then "control costs" as in raise the rates by 10.00 a month to start with. You can't have a dish because cable service is included in your rent!

Big oil says their profits are't excessive! How long does it take to figure out that the public wants a plug in car!!! That's right Detroit if you would wake up and figure that one out you could have the market back overnight. But GM won't have a plug in such as the Volt until about 2010. Forget it, you missed the boat again. Meanwhile our Toyota and Honda dlrs cant keep a hybrid on the lot and they're selling for full price!
