I am sorry for all you are going through.

My "gut" says this may not be related to MS. Perhaps... a build up of fluid--sinus--ear that dislodged, shifted and is probably infected.

I had a pain, about the size of a quarter. outside of my ear last year for 10 months!!! NO ONE could SEE anything wrong with my ear. Finally I asked to see an ENT and he found with his special scope a little pocket of infected fluid that he simply sucked out (never hurt) and placed a antibiotic powder and whaaalaaa.. all gone!!!

AND now I have the same problem only its worse now with my ear canal is infected and nearly closed. THe ENT simply put a ear stint in while I used the drops and prednisone to bring the swelling down.

Maybe you can ask to see an ENT ...they have more info, instruments and training. Remember.. a chronic infection runs through your system and wears one down. Just an idea...
