Sometimes I feel if it doesnt show up on an MRI or lab test then nothing is wrong with you. I am
very discouraged!
sbvcrn, So sorry for your discouragement, and I do understand! Been there! You can only hear, "It's all in your head!" so many times! Definitely something is going on. I guess, you give a doctor so many chances, then you move on to another. My new doc came with very good references, one being a good friend. The fact that this doc took the time to email me, also helped!

He is only my 2nd neurologist, but believe me, I have seen many, many other doctors over the years, and I have heard, "It's all in your head!" way too many times!!! A few times, I even began to believe it, then I realized no one in their right mind would make themselves feel this way...and I do believe I am in my right mind! Some may question that!

We urge all doctors to take time to listen to your patients.. don't "isolate" symptoms but look at the whole spectrum. If a patient tells you s/he feels as if s/he's falling apart and "nothing seems to be working properly", chances are s/he's right!
