Wink yes, over the last 40+yrs I have

had "thrilling" examples of doctor attitude on the phone.

And I was invited to a house warming once that was all medical.
I am also an artist and this psychiatrist purchased a watercolor of mine and invited me to this every fixey brunch.

The conversation THERE was appalling. I have never forgotten it, and it horrified my hubby too.

I even had a GP (my husband's family doctor) tell me extreme inaccurate diagnosis when I went to him when we moved here.
Needless to say, I didn't go back to HIM.

This is the painting BTW... It looks rather amateurish to me now, since this was back in the mid '70's!
I was also interested at the brunch...While the caterers were working in the kitchen they opened cupboards, and on the top shelves where HUGE stock bottles of mega vitamins! I mean like bottles of 5000! This psychiatrist was working with orthomolecular treatments I guess?

The shrink guests (one was a famous local forensic psychiatrist) were much more civil.
It was the surgeons who were the most disrespectful of their patients. Making fun of them,
talking about money/patients...really crude stuff.

This house warming was at a very ritzy (at the time) place. A huge estate that was sold and
converted to condos. (that was new in the '70's). This area was popular with the very rich,
and Aretha Franklin used to live there too, along with many other celebrities. We knew absolutely NO ONE at this party...so I just listened and observed. It was thrilling to see my work in a place of honor tho...very thrilling in that way. ( I could have charged MUCH more I guess in price ! LOLOL)
