I don't have an eyedropper yet for water, but do the parents feed them water? Will she be hydrated enough simply from the moisture in the canned dog food? Or do I need to supply it?

She was kinda annoyed -- maybe even chagrined! -- that I offered a drop of water on the cellophane end of a toothpick. I don't want her rising up in rebellion and doing a one-man-show of Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds!"
