Brain, I'm sorry you've been feeling so horrible. I'm right there with you. I've been in so much pain lately that it's unreal. About a week ago though, I started taking Alieve. I take one at night before I go to bed and one in the afternoon. My pain levels have been cut drastically. (I tried going without it one day to see if maybe it was just a fluke and the pain had stopped. Boy, did I find out different in a hurry!) The relief may just be temporary, but it sure is great while it lasts.

I was just trying to make it until my appointment with my MS specialist, which was supposed to have been last week (I had scheduled it eight months ago.) But they called me the day before to cancel it, put me on a "work-in" list, and that's the last I've heard. (Her "work-in" lists can sometimes take months!) I finally just requested a referral to a new neurologist, which my PCP is working on now.

This is all so frustrating, isn't it. There are times I just want to stand in the middle of the floor and have an old-fashioned temper tantrum to try to get someone to listen to me and help me. But, of course, I don't have the strength to do that either.

And no, "normal" people just don't understand. We just bought a new Rainbow vacuum cleaner last week. Sunday I tried to clean our bedroom, but could only do half of it before I konked out in exhaustion. My husband and MIL looked at me like they thought I was lazy. But honestly, if my life depended on it, I could not have cleaned the rest. The vacuum is still sitting in our bedroom floor. And it will sit there until I can get enough strength together to do something about it.

Hang in there, Sweetie. We do understand.

Hugs,

Lisa

I just doubled the value of my SUV! I filled the tank up with gasoline.

(That used to be an insult to the vehicle. Now it's a sad commentary on the price of gasoline!)
