Try to just take care of yourself...to heck with laundry, etc. Relax. Allow your body to rest. It can be so frustrating to feel lousy, and to experience unexplained pain.
You are going to have to put your foot down with your docs. Tell them it's time for them to help you resolve these issues so that your pain can be reduced and so that you can live life again.
The most difficult part of dealing with this, I'm sure, besides the pain, is family. They walk around with blinders, pretending that things are normal. We all totally understand. I really don't know how people deal with this. I feel quite alone with the sxs, as I'm sure many people, especially those in limbo, do.
Keep on trying to cope, and to make the docs help you, dear. Don't give up!!
