Default Tried it

With reference to reverett123, my first response disappeared, too. I think
this is what I said:

I tried this method three years ago under the tutelage (sp?) of my therapist/counselor; we went through all of the drills for a few weeks. My difficulty was that I am so ADD that I could not focus on the process long enough to accomplish anything. Two taps and my mind was staring at something else in the room; I felt no benefit whatsoever. Same thing with my eyes closed. Maybe it works, but you can't prove it by me.

On the other hand, I have found that I can stop even the worst shaking in one limb by focusing all of my attention on that limb. If I stay still and relaxed I will stay for maybe a minute. Of course, if I instead try to use that moment of calm to do something, it goes back immediately to whateve it was doing before. (Does anyone else sometimes feel like their hand is behaving like that of Dr. Strangelove?)
