Hi Crwstar,
An e.e.g. will usually show if a person is having sz. by the brain wave pattern. Sometimes though it may not be able to find anything because the brain damage is to deep in a person brain. Other tests you might want to consider is an MRI, CT scan, PET scan, and SPECT scan all of these tests can see what's going on in the brain and if there's any scar tissue or brain damage. My first e.e.g. found a scar on the right temporal lobe of my brain but it wasn't until I had brain surgery back in 1994 that my neurosurgeon found brain damage on the frontal lobe (forehead) and the left hemisphere of my brain and I had all of the tests done that I just mentioned to you.
Neuro feedback is where you can get more info. on the brain and other neurology problems people have. I spend most of my time on the neurology web forum also known as brain talk communities. It's a great big forum with many different medical problems that people have where they post questions and people around the world that want to respond will answer. It's put on by Harvard University at Massachusetts Hospital. it's a great forum! Here's wishing you well and May God Bless You!
