I have three Chiuahua's. Two short haired and one long haired. My little longhaired male (Copper) will dance on his hind legs barking at the squirrels. His bark becomes a barking shriek because he can't get them and since we live in a heavily wooded area, the squirrels race from tree to tree over him. He can only get to the three trees that are in our fenced backyard and this just frustrates him so badly and delights the squirrels. They deliberately will tease him. The other two (Cami and Rio) will finally look up like "Oh..that's what you are barking about". Then they will bark too. But I don't think they really get it.

Needless to say our neighbors probably appreciate it when the squirrels decide to stop their game.
