COOKEVILLE, Tenn. - Nick Philson, 68, of Cookeville, succumbed to his battle with A.L.S. (Lou Gehrig's Disease) on Thursday, July 10, 2008. The funeral service will be held in Cookeville on Monday, July 14, at 4 p.m. He is survived by his wife, Ann Philson; four daughters and sons-in-law, Angie and Mike Casstevens of Mount Airy, Maria and Andrew Merritt of High Point, N.C., Susie and Tom Branch of Dobson, N.C., and Nichole and Matt Wilson of Cookeville; three sons and daughters-in-law, Dwayne and Tracie Huntley of Jacksonville Fla., Steve and Kim Huntley of Livingston and Nick Philson Jr. of Cookeville; three sisters; a brother; 11 grandchildren; and 12 nieces and nephews.
