Ask about the medicare buy in program
I thought this was only available to Disabled and working individules though.QDWI

If she does not have disabilities, nor is not retired, until she is retirement age I have no idea if there is a plan through your coverage.
Perhaps they have something for you to pay,
Medicare for idividules with disabilities that work: Cost after the premium free period ends pay

BUT perhaps this program applies...
Premium hospital insurance (Part A) same monthly cost that unisured eligiable retired benficiaries pay, $393 if you have less than 30 quarters of coverage, or $216 if you have 30 or more quarters of coverage for 2006; and

you can buy premium Supplemental medical insurance (Part B) at the same monthly cost that uninsured eligiable retird beneficiaries pay, $88.50 for 2006;

You can buy hospital Insurance (Part A) separetly without medical insurance (Part B). You can buy Supplemental only if you also buy Hospital insurance Part A.

You may qualify for a reduction of your hospital insurance if you:\
Have 30 or more quarters of coverage on your earnings record; or

Have been married for at least 1 year to a worker with 30 or more quarters of ceoverage; or

Were married for at least 1 year to a deceased worker with 30 or more quarters of coverage; or

Are divorced, after at least ten years of marriage, from a worker who had 30 or more quarters of coverage at the time the divorce became final.

Red Book page 40-41
