I'm in agreement with Aarcyn. What cracks me up is that this is a reverse of what happened when John F. Kennedy was running for President. The arguments were that he was too young!!! AND...Catholic to boot!

Sure, a 'youthful' candidate could drop dead on the spot. But I do firmly believe the mental acuity of a younger person is important. Our brains, in general, do start to be 'challenged' as we age.

Yes, I'm just awful. I think that age can definitely be a factor, and that mental acuity is very important. John McCain reminds me of myself with quite a few "huh, what, where?" moments.
