Sounds like a good idea to me. I've never done it, but if you feel he doesn't take you seriously it might be helpful if he could see what you are experiencing.

Sometimes doctors tend to minimize our complaints. I have found that if I get the first appointment of the day things go much smoother for me. It seems like my doctor isn't thinking about the last patient he saw and I get his undivided attention.
