hi there, nice to meet you, I'm new too (I found this forum a couple of weeks ago).

I had that sort of pain for a long time before it all went numb. It sounds like it is time to get creative, and find a way of sleeping without the sheets touching your feet. There are cages available that you can get - with me it was my hands that were the worst, and I had to find a way of sleeping without my hands touching anything (yep, that meant sticking up in the air). I put a single bunk matress (used when the kids had friends for sleepovers) on top of my double bed, and added some pillows to wedge my forearms (and therefore my hands) up into the air. It really helped.

Sometimes we just have to do pretty strange things to cope with pain and of course I sometimes rolled over and it all turned to custard, but it really did help for me to find a way for me to sleep without my hands touching anything.

Have you seen a pain specialist ? They can be really helpful in terms of managing pain. Sometimes you have to do some experimenting with what works for you. What medication are you currently on, or have you tried in the past ?

nice to meet you
