Hi Laura,
Welcome to the forum! Just like your daughter I have right temporal lobe and frontal lobe seizures caused by scar tissue on the RTL (right temporal lobe) I had brain surgery done twice to help reduce my sz. and they found that my scar was bilaterial which can either slow down or increase the brain wave of a person if it speeds up it can cause sz. for the person. If I may ask how old is your daughter? The reason why I'm asking is because if she's going through puberty that's the time sz. will show because the hormones are changing in the body which can cause sz. I'm no Dr. but it sounds like the problem with your daughter may be genetic. You should ask your husband if anyone on his side of the family has any sz. or nervous disorder because often it can run in the family genes.
My best advice to you is for your daughter to go to an Epilepsy Center and see an Epileptologist - Dr. specializing in epilepsy this Dr. can also help your husband. I've seen many different neuros. over the yrs. and take my word none of them have helped me like an epileptologist has and I take the least amount of meds. If you check out this website you can get more info. on e.e.g.'s and the readings. http://www.emedicine.com/neuro/index.shtml#seizures

Here's wishing you and your family the best of luck? May God Bless All of You!
