Hi,

Well, I was amazed when the rheumatologist's only recommendation to me, after pronouncing that I did indeed have Fibromyalgia, was to do Yoga & Meditation & to not take ANY pharmaceutical drugs.

I tried following a Hatha Yoga video here at home but it very quickly caused all kinds of nasty muscle pain & cramps. I was going to give it up but then I found Dru Yoga - it is a modern cross betwen Tai Chi & traditional yoga. It is basically a lot more flowing, keeping the joints soft, not tensed.

I go to a class every couple of weeks & use a DVD & book for here at home as well. They are mainly UK based but I am sure there would be some teachers in the U.S. by now.
