Default I've been there and my have some helpful hints.

[F]Hi, I'm new to the site, but not to FM. If you are unable to work your dr is obligated to sign you up for disability. You might want to get a consultation with a rheumatologist, if your dr isn't one, if you dr is then get a second opinion. I have to go now, as I have an appointment, but will come back to the site in a couple of hours to continue with this message.

Have had my car repossessed, reduced to living in 1 bdrm apt from house,
no longer can do all the sports/outdoor things w/grandkids. (Can I have some wine & cheese, please) I'm trying to get short term disability as the suggestion of my employer through work, but the way my dr's are I'll probably get denied. Then it'll be the welfare line if I have to. I'm at my wits end, having to take Oxy daily just to function as a partial person. Any suggestions or if you know of a dr in Spokane WA that works with my symptoms, please let me know. I've always enjoyed life but fibro has a way of stealing life away from us. I'm looking for a dr that will fight with me, my recent one informed me she isn't comfortable dealing w/any type of disability claims, not part of her forte as a family doctor.
