I think it's nappy-time already, I'm so tired and it's only 10 am !!

got alla da critters fed, and inspected the newly-roofed shelter.

I was nervous yesterday, as it rained very heavily after the crew left... so, I worried that it would wreck the concrete slab.

HAPPY to see it's okay, luckily, it was a very SHORT downpour.

the main reason I'm so goshdang tuckered is I gave a tour to half-a-dozen neighborhood kids, they wanted to see all the new patitos y conejillos (baby ducklings and baby guinea pigs)

then, they picked fallen mangoes for an hour, while I supervised, and provided (used - recycled) plastic bags for their booty.

it's good to feel PART of a village, and to share, because I hate waste... there's so many mangoes we couldn't possibly eat them all...

we canned cases and cases of chunked fruit, jams, preserves, and even made some really great chutney, so basically, I don't wanna even LOOK at mangoes for a while.

and remember, my hands are all swollen from mango-rash (same oil that causes poison oak and poison ivy) so, I promise I didn't help pick this time.
