Good for you for standing up to the EX. He needs to see that you're okay and intend to remain okay without him. He does seem to have some problems and I hope he can get some help.

Life can throw us some curve balls no doubt. Hang in there and at some point down the road you can look back and realize how far you've come and how much you've overcome. I know I did. It's amazing how at the time we cannot see the light at the end of the tunnel but looking back on it all we can see it clearly. That didn't make much sense but I think you know what I mean!!
