I am so sorry to hear this is happening to you...as I live everyday of my life in pain and I think you are doing the right thing, because you must protect yourself. I know this in no way compares but I had to find homes for 2 family dogs because they were making me fall and I was the bad guy, but like I told the family, I can't take the chance of further injuries no matter who it hurts! When I mentioned to them I would end up in wheel chair if it continued then they began to see they would then have to care for me! We all want to remain independent as long as possible! Hang in there and take care of yourself because at the end of the day we can only depend on ourselves!
