Hi Jean,

It's funny you should start a thread on this as I too just switched from Lexapro to Paxil. I felt the Lexapro was not working well for me after two years and besides that it cost me $80 a month copay. So if I went through the insurance drug warehouse for 90 days supply that was $240 at a whack.

Since the switch I have felt much better and more alive and less like I was just drifting through life with little or no emotion. My copay is now only $10 a month and that is one heck of a savings. I do believe the difference in my life now and how I'm living it is somewhat due to a change in my attitude and the effectiveness of the Paxil. Even my therapist noticed the big change and I hadn't seen her for a month.

I personally think you're on the right track and keep it up. I've noticed NO side effects from the med at all.
