I am going through a terrible time right now for the sake of progress.

Yes 1500 mg of Sinemet was excessive. The reason it got so high was because I ramped off Mirapex, kicked off the Clinical Drug Trial for Istradefylline I was in for 3 years for going off the Mirapex. So for 3 yrs. I was taking it and then not. (no ramping down). I was put on Requip, Azilect and Comtan all for a short period of time (approx. a month each). This was all in a six month time frame. I ended up having a breakdown in the middle of this for three weeks. This is when I decided I couldn't do the drugs anymore. Believe me I was in dire straights. I was ready for extended care. I am tapering off Zoloft as I speak. I thought I needed it because I was depressed about the whole situation I found myself in. I agree with you it's bad stuff.
