Getting back into sewing
Hi, WeaveHerr. I remember making knit skirts when in college, and my mom always advised me to use a longer stitch to allow the thread to "stretch" with the fabric. Attached is a helpful website that explains how to choose and sew knit fabric. Hopefully it will help with your quandry.  Good luck!
