thanks red - yeah, I'm mostly trying to seperate the TOS pains from the neck pains. I'm coping OK with the day-to-day pains and limitations... but the flare-up are particularly scary. I just want to train someone locally to deal with me, so that I don't have to fear being hurt by ER docs if I was ever to be unconcious. The new dx hasn't changed anything - but may explain some things.
