HI, i don't know whether I'm doing this right. I don't know much about Tarlov cysts other than they are benign and can be found in several parts of the body. What the most reasonable thing for you to do is get an appt ( a referral from your internist) to be seen by a neurosurgeon. They must be drained and it will take away your pain---but you should go to a good neurosurgeon with some documentation of what your doctor calls them. I've had much pain in my life-no fun--but DO NOT give up! Get that appt. and see what they can do to alleviate the pain these cysts cause. By the way they are NOT cancerous so don't worry about that, okay? You CAN be helped. YOu just need to find the right doctor. I've had nerve pain in the area you are in trouble and know it's hard---but you CAN be helped. Cheers! Jetty
