Well it's a risk- but I won't tell you how many times hubby & I and older kids worked with that kind of insulation when remodeling our place.
We only did basic precautions - goggles , mouth & nose covered and long sleeves, long pants - then vacuuming & wiping down when done.
Then just hoped for the best ...

the particles are very fine.
If young children are in the home, clean as much as you can and as best you can and toss anything questionable.
I'm thinking playing on the floor and putting things in mouth.
