I'm trying to help a family member who has the machine in question. Easier said that done, huh, when it's long-distance and I can't see the machine.

I've asked for either a screenshot of the desktop (in Finder mode) or a photo of the machine.

Once I know which model, I can do the walk-through on a tweak that's needed.
