Those were the symptoms I had when my neurosurgeon and neurologist dx'd TN. It took a few years for the effects of mine to lessen, but, finally it did happen  .

That's what I thought too, but she said that maybe the TN was triggered by a virus or infection that ended up effecting the nerve.....I don't know if this is a possibility??
Did you have numbness on your tongue too? Any ear issues?
