A enthralling book is a good distraction, but no substitute for an antidepressant when we may need one.
If this keeps up (lonely & blue), be sure to mention it to your doc.
When I was at my worst with this disease, and I needed to go through that next transition, I found autobiography-type books, like "Climbing Higher" (Montel Williams) and "It's Not About the Bike: My Journey Back to Life" (Lance Armstrong), inspirational, and they helped me gain perspective.
