my son's case is not so severe that's true. exept some physical limitations and concentrating problems. and i should thank god day and night for this. i do, but still can't let go my worries. waiting for any answer with life experience on this matter. thx
From the experiance with my nephew and my friends son, they long out grew their shunts. Josh had to have replacements, as he grew the throwing up started and was the clue. With my friends son, he out grew it and never in the last 7 years has it functioned and he is fine.
Small for his age, and eye glasses are strong, but otherwise a healthy kiddo.
Have a check up done to see if he needs the shunt, if fluid is a problem, but they likely will advise the old shunt at 2 months is not even a factor or functioning.
Good luck to you
