It went fine. Honestly, the worst part is when they insert those metal things at first. You know what I'm talking about if you've had a PAP. That's almost rough on the poor skin.

Sprayed vinegar (which stung a bit), looked around, moved the cervix, and said, "Doesn't look like any immediate concerns". He had told me before starting that 9/10 results like mine come back without further problems.

It was not bad! His secretary is going to call for me to go see him in a couple of weeks for the follow up.

I got drilled about the smoking situation, as expected. I told him I already had plans to first speak with my neurologist about it on the 18th. Which is SOON! I can't wait to see my neuro

The doc did say the results came back indicating 'dysplasia', but he could not see any immediate concerns.

HPV is not something that I even thought about. I thought that was part of the routine PAP test. Not saying that I'll be positive for it, but it's certainly not something I thought about. Always protected encounters, but you can't trust anything outside of abstinence either.
