I just had my pap and got the results that said.

Normal, except high risk for HPV. I got a hand out with it explaining all about HPV. wth is that all about? in my world NOT normal is not a good thing, but this said NORMAL, and then tried to confuzzle me.

I called the GYN office who said "at my age, its a concern, and I have a previous cancer history, so I am at higher risk. My pap is normal and my tests indicate i DONT have HPV, but I am to be made aware of my risk factors."

Puff puff puff...I was almost explosive! I have survived breast cancer, pretty aggressive stuff, and now MS and some secondary sjogrens and have plenty of REAL monsters living in my closet. Now this high rent gyn wants me to worry about maybes! I wanted to drive to her office just to slap her. how bout you tell me "all is well. go home, dont worry, you have enough on your plate." no, she wants a $400 test next round. I swear to God...
