heh, welcome to my new world. I am five months out from winter fall running. The ringing in my ears is still present. I have an appointment with ears nose and throat speacialist in a month. I was led to beleive earlier that the whiplash and the neck injury I sustained was causing the noise, but I think now that it is damage to the hairs in the inner ear, that will never go away. I have been feeling a bit better and booked a trip next week. I have begun running again and all symptoms have returned. The neck is awful and back and it has brought the headaches back full force. Memory and thought process are strained as well. I think that we all have to settle down for the long hall. I am nolonger thinking that I will bounce back from this anytime soon. I look now to the year mark instead of the week or month mark. I know that it sounds sad but I realize now that things happen and this wasn't a good thing and now I have to try to live and heal from this. Anyway, I think what I have learned this far is that I need to take life at a slower pace, and realizing that it is okay not to do everything perfect. By the way, sorry if there are any spelling issues but I notice things don't come easily to the mind and I have to really rethink things. I hope this gets better too. I do have a few questions to the more experienced. I have read things do get better. Does this include memory, spelling, having to really think into my head to get an answer. The other thing is that I fly out in 8 days. Is it dangerous to my ears in anyway for more damage. Thanks a bunch for any info.
