Hello Nick welcome to Neuro Talk, Chemar has a good point about discussing this with your parents, and probably the sooner the better so they can help to get you into the proper doctor you need to see, or be tested by.

The other point Chemar made was so many factors can attribute to what your symptoms are, and that depends on if its a tic or temor, too many factors to try and guess, and I am pretty sure your parents would agree, why guess when you can find out sooner and posibly get some meds they may hinder the tremors or tics.

As a parent of 5, I admire your ambition and concern for your parents, but also as a parent, I am pretty sure they will want you to be healthy and taken care of, talk to them, good luck in your decision.
