Yea, I watched my Dad too when I was very young but as I grew up his business changed and he didn't work for other people, he owned and operated his own company but still he did many of his own repairs to vehicles and his own ship. One of my brothers also was this way, he became a pilot for a major airlines. I think I could have done either but you know how it was back then for girls to do anything BUT wife and mother. I really feel like I was cheated out of my own life. I wanted so much more for myself and I feel my life has just been a waste of my time. Now my brother is living my life or the life I wanted for myself.

I did learn alot from my Dad about fixing things. At this point in my life I really don't need a man around for anything I can't do for myself. I am very good at " Opening jars and killing bugs." That's a quote from "Everybody Loves Raymond".
