Default Good article on how and why TOS occurs

It's pretty technical but it explains why TOS occurs. It proposes that the anatomial abnormalities are a secondary cause as many people have those without symptoms. It proposes that there is an infalmationary process that occurs with trauma, repetivtive that cause a cascade of biological chanes that cause the symptoms.

it explains why TOS cause headaches and GI problems and why there is a time delay between the irritating event and symptoms.
